Description

We created this design to bring attention to the idea that when a child is not “complying” with expectations set by the world around them, they are demonstrating an early form of self advocacy. Not only is non-compliance a signal that something needs to be modified in a child’s environment or instruction; non-compliance is also an essential skill.

This design was illustrated by Kylie Jeffrey.
